A. J. Holloman, a native of Manatee County is married to the love of his life Angela.
A. J. started singing when he was nine years old. He remember hearing his mother and father in the house singing
when he would come inside from playing. "They were my inspiration." He went on to say, he also remembers his aunt Sally Blue, who passed away a few years ago, taking him to concerts of some of the greats in gospel music.
Some of the artists who inspired him are Joe Ligon of the Mighty Clouds of Joy, Harvey Watkins of the Canton Spirituals, among many others.
A.J.'s life statement could be summed up by his words. "I just want to live for God. Even though there are ups and down's, God's got everything covered. God won't let us suffer too long. He will supply our needs, if we seek Him first."
